Orthopedic Technician

This is a full-time on-site role for an Orthopedic Technician located in Maryland, United States. The Orthopedic Technician will be responsible for assisting in orthopedic procedures, applying and removing casts and splints, and ensuring proper use and maintenance of orthopedic equipment. Responsibilities also include educating patients about their conditions and post-procedure care and maintaining accurate medical records and documentation.

• Proficiency in Casting and Splinting
• Knowledge of Medicine and Orthopedics
• Familiarity with Medical Terminology related to orthopedic care
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Relevant certification or training in Orthopedic Technology is a plus
• Experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in orthopedics, is highly desirable
