The Rehab Tech provides assistance to all In‑Patient Rehab Staff in the provision of care to patients and in associated non‑direct care tasks that are performed on a daily/weekly basis in the department.

The Rehab Tech provides individualized care based upon the needs of the patient and family, as directed by the licensed therapists in the department, and in the boundaries set forth by the Maryland State Practice Acts for physical and occupational therapy.

The PRN tech must be willing to work at least 2 weekend days per month.

Education and

Work Experience:

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience with significant exposure to health care.

Certification Requirements:

• Level C CPR certification for health care providers.
