Position Summary: The Coordinator will be under the general supervision and coordinate the dissemination of information to referring/requesting physicians. They will assess the needs of the referring/requesting physician and contact the appropriate attending physician and other hospital personnel. Shift: Evening Shift - 40 hours per week.
Education: Work requires administrative skills and technical training acquired in two years of college or equivalent work experience – medical terminology required.
Required
Work Experience:
Some experience with computer data entry and word processing.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Comprehensive knowledge of hospital and physician referral protocol and hospital policies and procedures, generally acquired during two to three years of related experience.
- Analytical skills to resolve problems, obtain historical information to determine the specific type of physician service required, and provide physicians with information and assistance.
- Good telephone etiquette and excellent interpersonal skills to liaise between referring physicians and JHH.

Salary Range: Minimum $18.87/hour – Maximum $31.15/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
