The Coordinator will be under the general supervision and coordinate the dissemination of information to referring/requesting physicians. They will assess the needs of the referring/requesting physician and contact the appropriate attending physician and other hospital personnel. ShiftDay Shift - 40 hours per week, 7:30 am - 6:00 pm.
EducationWork requires administrative skills and technical training acquired in two years of college or equivalent work experience - medical terminology required.
Required Work ExperienceSome experience with computer data entry and word processing.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Work requires a comprehensive knowledge of hospital and physician referral protocol and hospital policies and procedures, which are generally acquired during two to three years of related experience.
- Analytical skills are required to resolve problems, obtain historical information to determine the specific type of physician service required, and provide physicians with information and assistance.
- Good telephone etiquette and excellent interpersonal skills are necessary to liaise between referring physicians and JHH.

Salary RangeMinimum $18.87/hour - Maximum $31.15/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
