Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM

• 2 years of nursing experience required

• Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology experience required

• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS

• First-time travelers accepted

• Weekend coverage required - 3 weekend shifts per contract

• Call shifts required - 1-2 weeknight call shifts per week (Monday-Friday 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) and 3-4 weekend call shifts per month (Saturday-Sunday 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM)

• 36 hours of orientation provided

• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations

• Unit has 3 rooms and handles high volume interventional cardiac procedures with structural heart program

• Experience required with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, pre/post procedure care, special procedures, IABP placement/removal, cardiac ablation, angioplasty, and various cardiac interventions

• Must be proficient with specialized equipment including FFR, IVUS, Rotablator, Acist, and STEMI care protocols

• Skills include sheath removal/monitoring, procedural sedation administration, external compression devices, infection prevention, dysrhythmia interpretation, and radiation safety

• Cerner charting system experience preferred

• Must have either compact license or Maryland license at time of submission

• Two supervisor references required

• No more than 7 days RTO permitted per 13-week contract
