Description

The Regional Manager – Primary Care & Immediate Care is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, performance, and strategic execution of a designated regional territory of multidisciplinary Primary Care and Immediate Care clinics. This position ensures that all sites within the assigned territory maintain operational excellence, deliver high-quality clinical care, and achieve organizational goals in patient satisfaction, access, and efficiency.

The Regional Manager provides direct leadership to Practice Managers and clinic leads, ensuring consistent application of best practices, financial performance, and a positive care team culture. This role collaborates closely with the Regional Medical Director and senior leadership to drive alignment across operational, clinical, and strategic initiatives. The position is full-time, on-site, and requires regular travel to all assigned clinics.

Requirements Operational & Financial Leadership
  • Oversee daily operations across a designated region of clinics, ensuring alignment with organizational standards, goals, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and drive key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) to support efficiency and growth.
  • Identify, pilot, and implement improvement initiatives to increase visit volume, enhance access to care, and meet key organizational metrics.
  • Develop and manage regional budgets, forecast revenue and expenses, and ensure financial targets are met.
  • Drive standardization and operational efficiency through the implementation of consistent standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Identify cost‑saving opportunities while maintaining patient care quality and safety.
People & Site Management
  • Directly manage and mentor Practice Managers and clinic leads, promoting accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Regularly monitor clinical, operational, and financial performance metrics and implement corrective action plans when necessary.
  • Partner with leadership and Talent Acquisition to recruit, hire, and onboard high‑performing staff and providers.
  • Assist in the development and administration of competitive provider compensation models.
  • Foster a culture of engagement and inclusion across all clinics by supporting professional growth, conducting performance reviews, and maintaining open communication.
  • Conduct routine site visits to ensure operational consistency and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Partner with Quality, Compliance, and Clinical Operations teams to ensure adherence to all company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Support integration of on‑site and virtual care delivery models to expand access and maintain patient continuity.
  • Work closely with finance and leadership teams to align business and operational goals.
  • Ensure consistent communication and collaboration between practice managers, regional medical leadership, and corporate departments.
Education and Experience

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare or clinic operations, preferably in multi‑site primary or urgent care environments.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex operations across multiple locations.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting and forecasting.
  • Experience in provider recruitment, contracting, and compensation plan design.
  • Proficiency in EHR systems such as Athena, eClinical

    Works, or Epic.
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills, with familiarity in Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.

Preferred:

  • Prior clinical experience as a CNA, MA, LPN, or RN.
  • Proven success leading workflow optimization and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Calm and professional demeanor under pressure.
  • Commitment to patient‑centered care and operational excellence.
