Summary
This position ensures the provision of quality services to families with strengths-based professional supervision to direct service staff, facilitates home visits, and coordinates group events for participating families as needed.
Responsibilities General Supervisory SupportProvide supervisory support for 2 to 4 Home Visitors (HV) including bi‑weekly supervision sessions each month. Ensure full‑time parent educators participate in a minimum of two hours of individual reflective supervision and a minimum of two hours of staff meetings; part‑time parent educators participate in a minimum of one hour of reflective supervision and two hours of staff meetings. Support high‑quality services to families by ensuring accurate home‑visiting documentation, monitoring HV caseloads and completion rates, observing each HV at least semi‑annually, and providing reflective supervision to encourage professional development.
FamilyServices
Develop and maintain knowledge of the PAT Standards to ensure services comply with the PAT program model. Maintain knowledge of community resources, and work with HVs to ensure each family completes required program assessment, is current with immunizations and well‑child visits, and receives referrals. Support HVs in developing Family Goal Plans and monitoring progress. Review and monitor incidents, provide intervention services, and facilitate home visits as needed.
ProgramSupport
Act as a team leader, assist with team meetings, provide daily crisis management support, participate in administrative program meetings, assist in staff selection and orientation trainings, revise program forms and policies, conduct annual participant satisfaction surveys, help with reporting and data management, and work with the department PM & Director to maintain program certification and fidelity.
Networking and Coordination ActivitiesParticipate in PAT Supervisor meetings, community meetings and work groups, and facilitate community presentations about program services as needed.
MiscellaneousCollaborate with agency staff from other programs when appropriate. Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Manager or Director of Programs and Services.
EducationBachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Sciences (Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Mental Health, Nursing and Education, or equivalent) required. Master’s Degree preferred.
ExperienceMust possess at least 5 years of experience working directly with families with children in‑home or in group settings. Case management or service coordination experience preferred.
SkillsStrong understanding of supervising and motivating staff, experience providing support in stressful environments, early childhood prevention services, home visitation experience preferred. Knowledge of infant/child development, parent‑child attachment, maternal‑infant health, and dynamics of child abuse and neglect. Experience in family‑centered, strength‑based, culturally sensitive service provision. Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to reflective supervision, data collection, and continuous quality improvement.
NOTEValid driver’s license, car, and insured vehicle are necessary to fulfill duties. Proof of a flu vaccine or a medical or religious exemption is required.
Working HoursFull Time, 35 hours weekly, Monday-Friday.
Salary Range$60,000 to $65,000.
