Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) – Travel Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT) role in Baltimore, MD. 13-week contract for experienced respiratory therapists.

• Role: Travel Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) — Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT) / Pulmonary Diagnostics
• Setting: Pulmonary Diagnostics Unit
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: March 30, 2026 (or ASAP)
• Shift: 4 x 10-hour day shifts (06:45 – 17:15)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Weekends / On-call: No weekends or on-call required
• Holiday Coverage: Required as scheduled
• Average Daily Visits: 25
• Number of Rooms: 6
• Scrub Color: Navy blue
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1860 - $2000 per week

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CRT or RRT with strong Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT) and bronchoscopy support experience
• Active Maryland or Compact Respiratory Therapist License
• RRT and BLS (AHA) required
• ACLS, PALS, CPFT, and RPFT certifications preferred (spirometry / lung function testing credentials highly valued)
• Experience with Vyntus/Jaeger pulmonary function testing systems preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Comfortable caring for all age groups (pediatrics to geriatrics) and floating within the hospital as needed
• Two satisfactory professional references required
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)

• Perform full pulmonary function testing studies, including spirometry, lung volumes, diffusion, exercise testing, and bronchoscopy support
• Provide respiratory care and assessment for patients with a range of cardiopulmonary diagnoses
• Operate and maintain specialized equipment such as Vyntus/Jaeger PFT systems
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including Respiratory Services, Pulmonologists, and Rapid Response Teams
• Document patient care, test results, and procedures accurately in Epic (preferred) and maintain compliance with documentation standards
• Maintain infection control, patient safety, and quality assurance practices in the pulmonary diagnostics unit
• Float to other hospital units as required to support patient care and departmental needs
