Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) – Travel Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT) role in Baltimore, MD. 13-week contract for experienced respiratory therapists.

- Role: Travel Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) — Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT) / Pulmonary Diagnostics
- Setting: Pulmonary Diagnostics Unit
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: March 30, 2026 (or ASAP)
- Shift: 4 x 10-hour day shifts (06:45 – 17:15)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Weekends / On-call: No weekends or on-call required
- Holiday Coverage: Required as scheduled
- Average Daily Visits: 25
- Number of Rooms: 6
- Scrub Color: Navy blue
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1860 - $2000 per week
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a CRT or RRT with strong Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT) and bronchoscopy support experience
- Active Maryland or Compact Respiratory Therapist License
- RRT and BLS (AHA) required
- ACLS, PALS, CPFT, and RPFT certifications preferred (spirometry / lung function testing credentials highly valued)
- Experience with Vyntus/Jaeger pulmonary function testing systems preferred
- Epic charting experience preferred
- Comfortable caring for all age groups (pediatrics to geriatrics) and floating within the hospital as needed
- Two satisfactory professional references required
- Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
- Perform full pulmonary function testing studies, including spirometry, lung volumes, diffusion, exercise testing, and bronchoscopy support
- Provide respiratory care and assessment for patients with a range of cardiopulmonary diagnoses
- Operate and maintain specialized equipment such as Vyntus/Jaeger PFT systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including Respiratory Services, Pulmonologists, and Rapid Response Teams
- Document patient care, test results, and procedures accurately in Epic (preferred) and maintain compliance with documentation standards
- Maintain infection control, patient safety, and quality assurance practices in the pulmonary diagnostics unit
- Float to other hospital units as required to support patient care and departmental needs
