CT Technologist (CT Tech) – Travel Contract | Baltimore, MD (21201) | ARRT (CT), BLS

  • Position: CT Technologist / Computed Tomography Technologist (Travel CT Technologist)
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Start Date: March 30, 2026
  • Shift: Days, 3 x 12-hour shifts (06:30 - 19:00); every weekend (Saturday, Sunday, Monday)
  • Hours per Week: 36
  • On-call: Not required
  • Floating: May be required within the specialty (float to other CT/Imaging units)
  • Equipment: Philips 7500, Philips Brilliance 64, Siemens Force (CT imaging systems)
  • Travel Policy: First-time travelers accepted; must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
Compensation
  • Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,270 - $2,440 per week
Key Qualifications / Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of recent CT technologist experience (hospital acute care, trauma, or ED preferred)
  • Active Maryland state license or eligible Compact state license at time of submission
  • ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required
  • AHA BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
  • Experience with Level I/II Trauma, adult and pediatric acute care, and emergency department imaging preferred
  • Comfortable working weekends, holidays, and scheduled shifts as required
  • Willingness to float within the hospital's imaging specialty
  • Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
CT Technologist Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans for patients across the lifespan: neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations
  • Operate and optimize advanced CT imaging equipment (Philips 7500, Philips Brilliance 64, Siemens Force)
  • Prepare, calculate, and administer contrast media according to protocol and safety guidelines
  • Adhere to radiation safety principles (ALARA) and strict infection control procedures
  • Provide clear, professional communication and collaborate with radiologists, ED staff, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams
  • Document procedures, maintain accurate patient records, and ensure image quality for diagnostic interpretation
  • Support trauma and emergency imaging workflows and provide compassionate patient-centered care
