Effective January 1, 2026 and expires May 1, 2026.
Applicable only for MA & MOS positions in the Centers of Excellence and Maryland Family Care practices, of which this role applies to.

Responsibilities

Front Office Duties:

  • Greet patients in a courteous and friendly manner, providing a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments and procedures.
  • Verify patient insurance information and collect co‑pays or fees as needed.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information to patients and other callers.
  • Complete patient check‑in and check‑out processes.

Back Office Duties:

  • Take patient vital signs, record medical histories, and update electronic health records (EHR).
  • Administer injections and immunizations as directed by healthcare providers (on‑site training provided).
  • Perform basic laboratory tests, including specimen collection and processing.
  • Provide patient education and instructions as directed by healthcare providers.
Requirements

Education and

Work Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • A minimum of one‑year experience, preferably in a medical office setting.

Certification Requirements:

  • CPR‑preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize one or more of the following:
    • Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel
    • Microsoft Outlook
    • Epic
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Must be able to work independently and possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Must possess the ability to effectively communicate and deal tactfully with other personnel, visitors, patients, physicians, customers, and the general public.
  • Must be flexible, have personal integrity, and the ability to function effectively as a team with other employees.
  • Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.

    • Lutherville
