The Kirby Center is a world‑renowned research center specializing in brain imaging and has transformed neuroscience and medical imaging by developing cutting‑edge MRI techniques that allow researchers to study brain function, physiology, and structure.
ResponsibilitiesThe MRI Technologist III oversees day‑to‑day imaging operations in the F.M. Kirby Research Center. The incumbent is a medical and research professional who supervises MRI technologists and operators, prepares subjects for scanning, operates MRI scanners, removes subjects from the scanner, and performs basic processing and archiving of MRI data. The role also involves applying new methods and staying current with research developments.
Qualifications- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART) certification/registration required
- Certification in venipuncture or equivalent training required
- Basic Life Support and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required
Graduate of an AART‑accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
Experience- Minimum five years of experience as an MRI technologist required
- Minimum one year of supervisory experience preferred
Commensurate with experience
USD $71,518.51 – $ per year.
