Responsibilities- Greets and checks in patients at the 4th floor clinic; maintains sign-in sheets and assists in coordinating clinic workflow and communication.
- Performs daily administrative tasks including patient scheduling, managing provider schedules, preparing intake and registration materials, verifying insurance, and requesting medical records.
- Creates and maintains accurate patient records in both electronic (Methasoft) and paper formats; ensures proper documentation and compliance with privacy regulations (HIPAA, 42 CFR Part
2). - Monitors and maintains reception and public areas; reports safety/security concerns and provides support in the I /REACH main lobby as needed.
- Handles incoming calls and messages; routes communication appropriately to staff or providers.
- Supports clinic operations through participation in staff meetings and ongoing compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday, 7am-3pm.

Requirements- Ability to work independently with initiative and minimal supervision, seeking assistance as needed.
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment, while handing sensitive information in a confidential manner.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure, knowing how to prioritize tasks.
- Strong organizational and planning skills with attention to detail and problem solving skills.
- Proficient with computers (Microsoft programs) and other office equipment.
- Knowledge of EMR systems (Methasoft preferred).
- Basic knowledge of insurance systems including verifications and authorizations.
- Ability to recognize when a patient is in distress and needs additional support via appropriate treatment personnel.
- Proficient knowledge of computer systems including Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, and ability to learn new programs, as needed.
- Ability to work with a culturally diverse population, embracing the DEIB initiatives of I /REACH.
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment, while managing multiple high priority issues simultaneously.
- Ability to pass all pre‑employment requirements including but not limited to a criminal background check and drug screen.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- One+ years previous experience in an administrative support role, preferably in a healthcare environment.
