Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Medical Assistant to join our team in the medical industry. This position will require the candidate to work Clinic Hours M-F 8a-5p. The ideal candidate will have experience in Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, Checking vitals, and in a Gastroenterology clinic. As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting physicians and nurses in providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Taking and recording patient vitals including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
• Preparing patients for exams and procedures
• Assisting physicians and nurses during exams and procedures
• Administering medications as directed by physicians
• Performing basic lab tests and specimen collection
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Providing patient education and instructions as directed by physicians
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
• Other duties as assigned by the physician or clinic manager

Qualifications:

• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant
• 2+ years of experience in a medical office or clinic setting
• Experience with Gastroenterology preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Proficient in basic computer skills and electronic medical records
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
