Active MD or Compact License required.

Certifications:

BLS required. Will accept CCI CRAT or NTA.

Must-Have:
Strong cardiac monitoring/dysrhythmia interpretation experience.

Description:

Certified Cardiac Monitor Tech needed for day shifts.
The position requires monitoring cardiac rhythms of patients.
Candidates will float within specialties where cardiac monitoring is applicable.
Every other weekend availability is required.
Floating to sister facilities may also be necessary.
No pre-scheduled on-call shifts are required.
Holidays will be required as they occur.
Travelers must be comfortable floating with no restrictions within their experience scope.
Certified Cardiac Monitor Tech will engage in patient monitoring and communication of rhythm variances.
Daily duties include regular maintenance of monitoring equipment.
It is essential to perform monitoring activities within critical care and telemetry settings.
Monitoring includes recognizing and interpreting various cardiac rhythms.
Candidates must document findings accurately and efficiently.
Team collaboration with nursing and physician personnel is vital.
The unit will provide support for different patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Preferred experience includes working in LTAC and Trauma Level I or II settings.
Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in lead placements, troubleshooting alarms, and measuring cardiac intervals.
