Description:

Certified Cardiac Monitor Tech needed for nights.
36 hours per week.
Must have one year of experience or will accept first-time travelers.
An RN can be accepted at the approved role rate with strong cardiac monitoring/dysrhythmia interpretation experience.
Start dates: ASAP, March 16, 2026, or March 30, 2026.
Contract length is 13 weeks.
Shifts available are 3x12 nights (19:00-07:30).
Manager will also consider 8-hour shifts.
License and certifications required: CCI CRAT or NTA, and BLS.
Holidays will be required as scheduled.
Every other weekend required.
Floating may occur to all specialties where cardiac monitoring is in place and to sister facilities as needed.
There are no pre-scheduled on-call shifts required.

Additional skills required:
Lead placement for 3 Lead and 5 Lead configurations.
Setup for Lead II and MCL 1.
Ability to troubleshoot pacemaker issues including failure to capture and failure to sense.
Monitoring responsibilities include ICU and telemetry monitoring.
Perform regular maintenance tasks like cleaning and battery changes.
Knowledge of various cardiac conditions such as 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degree heart blocks, asystole, atrial fibrillation, ventricular fibrillation, and others.
Must maintain rhythm strips in patient charts and print documentation interpretation for patient records.
Candidates must be comfortable floating within the scope of their experience.
