General Description

We are excited that you are interested in applying for the Johns Hopkins Speech Language Pathology Acute Care Clinical Fellowship Program, a full‑time paid clinical fellowship. The program provides a supportive and challenging learning environment that fosters the growth of clinical fellows in becoming experts in the field of medical speech pathology.

• Applicant must be eligible for a limited license in Maryland and work in the United States without visa sponsorship by the PMR department.

• The ability to analyze and synthesize information from a broad-based fund of knowledge in medical communication and swallowing science and disorders.
• A problem‑solving attitude of inquiry and decision making based on evidence‑based practice.
• Motivation to achieve an advanced level of clinical competency in prevention, screening, evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with medical communication and swallowing disorders.
• The ability to communicate effectively and professionally in a multidisciplinary health setting.
• Self‑evaluation resulting in active steps to develop new skills and acquire knowledge.
• Ethical, responsible, and professional conduct.

The referenced salary range represents the minimum and maximum salaries for this position and is based on Johns Hopkins University's good faith belief at the time of posting.
