Overview
The Surgical Posting Manager will oversee the day to day operations of the surgical posting team. Will work with the system facilities to improve the surgical posting process. Responsible for resolving all surgical posting issues and work directly with the OR to answer any surgical posting inquiries. Will collaborate with facility and department committees and meet on a monthly basis to improve and develop policies that will decrease surgical posting issues.
Will manage and oversee the process and daily workflow for new facilities as they are added.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the surgical posting team.
- Collaborate with facilities to improve the surgical posting process.
- Resolve all surgical posting issues and respond to inquiries from the OR.
- Collaborate with facility and department committees; meet monthly to develop policies to reduce surgical posting issues.
- Manage the process and daily workflow for new facilities as they are added.
- Bachelor degree from a four-year college or university or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience in highly preferred
- Minimum five years of surgical posting experience
- At least 3 years of previous supervisory experience
The referenced base salary range represents the low and high end of University of Maryland’s Faculty Physician’s Inc. salary range for this position. Some candidates will not be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will depend on multiple factors, including geographical location, skills, work experience, market conditions, internal equity, responsibility factor and span of control, education/training and other qualifications.
