Inpatient Patient Care Technician - PCT - Dialysis

Fresenius Medical Care - 9000 Franklin Square Drive - Responsibilities:
Provides patient care under the supervision of the FMCNA RN for assigned patients in the acute setting.;
With documented competency and proficiency may set up and prime equipment as directed by the Fresenius Nurse for renal replacement therapies (hemodialysis, continuous renal replacement and peritoneal dialysis therapies).;
Obtains vital signs and weight; monitors intradialytic status and reports to RN.;
Discontinues dialysis treatment according to established procedures; documents and reports patient response and status to RN.;
Maintains accurate treatment records and adheres to safety and quality protocols.
