The successful candidate will be responsible for administering radiation treatment to patients as prescribed by oncologists, ensuring precise and safe delivery of therapy. • Prepare and position patients accurately for radiation treatment.
• Operate radiation therapy equipment to deliver prescribed doses.
• Monitor patients during treatment for any adverse reactions.
• Collaborate with oncologists, medical physicists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Maintain detailed records of treatments and patient progress.
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Provide patient education and support throughout the treatment process.

• Graduation from an AMA approved program in Radiation Therapy Technology or Radiologic Technology is required.
• Registration as a Radiation Therapy Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) is required.
• Licensure in Radiation Therapy Technology within the state of Maryland is required.
• Associate of Science degree in Radiation Therapy Technology is preferred.
• CPR certification is required.
• One year of clinical practice in Radiation Therapy is preferred.
