We are seeking a Physician Assistant to join our Orthopedic Surgery team at Med Star Franklin Square Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. Med Star Franklin Square's recently constructed Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Center features 20 exam rooms and two imaging suites, with physical therapy conveniently located within the same space to support coordinated, seamless care. Patients have access to Med Star Franklin Square's orthopedic specialists in one centralized location.
This is an exciting opportunity for a PA who enjoys both surgical and clinical care. Time will be spent in clinic both solo and with a supervising physician as well as assisting in surgery.
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, approximately 40 hours per week
- Schedule will vary based on clinic and OR needs
- No call, weekends, or holidays
- Typical start times are 7:00-7:30 a.m., with shifts generally ending around 4:00 p.m.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education/Training
- Graduate from accredited Physician Assistant program
- Orthopaedic Experienced Physician Assistant preferred
- License/Certification/Registration
- NCCPA certified
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer skills.
