Patient Care Technician I

University of Maryland Medical Center -  - Responsibilities:
Deliver direct patient care, including obtaining vital signs, assisting with activities of daily living, performing phlebotomy, and collecting specimen samples;
Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge procedures, and collaborate with the healthcare team to monitor and communicate changes in patient condition;
Perform wound care, urinary catheter management, blood glucose monitoring, orthopedic device maintenance, and uphold a safe and organized clinical environment;
Follow safety protocols, promptly respond to patient alarms, and support cost-effective practices and efficient patient flow
