Job Description

Redefining the Future Network, Inc. (RTFNetwork) is a leading behavioral health company dedicated to providing top‑tier behavioral health services to adolescents and adults. Our team delivers comprehensive care through medication management, individual counseling, group therapy, and psychiatric rehabilitation sessions. Under the direction of the Medical Director, RTFNetwork is seeking highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Clinicians to join our Outpatient Mental Health Clinic.

The ideal candidate will have a master’s degree in social work, counseling, or a related field and an active LCSW-C, LCSW, LMSW, LGPC, LCPC, or LMFT licensure. The clinician will provide therapeutic interventions to address developmental, emotional, and behavioral needs in children, adolescents, and families. Part‑time | Compensation:

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial assessments to evaluate the mental health status of clients.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Monitor clients' progress throughout treatment.
  • Offer crisis intervention when necessary.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date client records.
  • Stay informed about mental health research and best practices.
  • Advocate for clients' needs within the healthcare system.
  • Conduct risk assessments for clients in potentially harmful situations.
  • Develop and lead psychoeducation workshops for clients and their families.
  • Provide referrals to other necessary services or professionals.
  • Participate in case conferences to discuss complex cases.
  • Stay current with ethical guidelines and laws related to mental health practice.
  • Offer support and resources to families of clients.
  • Assist clients in developing coping strategies for everyday challenges.
  • Conduct follow‑up assessments to evaluate treatment effectiveness.
  • Implement evidence‑based interventions tailored to each client's needs.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in all interactions.
  • Seek supervision and consultation when faced with challenging cases.
  • Attend department and company monthly, or bi‑weekly meetings.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications

To excel as a mental health clinician, candidates should possess a robust set of qualifications that encompass both educational background and practical experience.

  • Education:

    A minimum of a master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is required. Some positions may necessitate a Doctoral degree for advanced roles.
  • Licensure:
    Individuals should hold a valid state license to practice as a mental health clinician. This could include licenses such as Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW, LCSW‑C), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Psychologist. (LGPC, and LMSW, licenses are acceptable. We will provide supervision hours as required by law with the appropriate supervisor type.)
  • Specialized Training:
    Additional certifications or training in areas like cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, trauma‑informed care, or substance abuse treatment can bolster a candidate's qualifications.
  • Clinical

    Experience:

    Prior experience working in mental health settings is highly valued. This could involve internships, residencies, or supervised clinical practice.
  • Strong Interpersonal

    Skills:

    Effective communication, empathy, active listening, and cultural competence are essential qualities for providing quality care to diverse populations.
  • Ethical Standards:
    Upholding ethical guidelines and maintaining confidentiality are crucial pillars of the role. Familiarity with ethical codes such as those from the American Counseling Association, National Association of Social Workers, or American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy is imperative.
Additional Requirements
  • Complete CPR/First Aid training.
  • Complete a state and federal-level criminal background check.
  • Ability to meet with clients in person and virtually.
  • Experience using ICANotes preferred.
