Position Title:

Fee‑for‑Service Licensed Psychologist

Company:
Freedom Health Systems, LLC (operating Community Wellness Outpatient Mental Health Center)

Job Summary

Provide fee‑for‑service psychological testing, evaluation, test administration, scoring, interpretation, feedback sessions, and related outpatient behavioral health services. May maintain a small outpatient therapy caseload if needed. Work with clinical supervisors, administrative staff, and cross‑disciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct clinical interviews & diagnostic assessments.
  • Determine appropriate assessment batteries based on referral questions.
  • Administer, score, interpret, and document psychological tests.
  • Prepare comprehensive evaluation reports and provide feedback sessions to clients and treatment teams.
  • Make clinical recommendations for therapy, medication, education, community services, or higher level of care.
  • Maintain complete, timely, and compliant documentation, including intake notes, progress notes (if therapeutic caseload), and other required records.
  • Coordinate with therapists, psychiatrists, case managers, schools, and primary care providers.
  • Perform additional therapy services (individual, family, group, crisis support) if a therapy caseload is maintained.
  • Follow agency workflows for scheduling, billing, and report submission.
Qualifications
  • Doctoral degree in psychology (PhD or PsyD).
  • Active, unrestricted license as a psychologist in the state of practice.
  • Training and experience in psychological testing, evaluation, scoring, interpretation, and report writing.
  • Ability to provide services independently within the scope of license.
  • Knowledge of outpatient mental health documentation standards.
  • Professional liability insurance for independent contractors.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with outpatient mental health centers and diverse client populations.
  • Proficiency in assessment of ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral concerns, mood disorders, and personality disorders.
  • Experience writing clear, comprehensive evaluation reports.
  • Familiarity with Medicaid, commercial insurance, and behavioral health billing.
  • Competence in electronic health records and care coordination.
Education

Doctoral degree in psychology (PhD or PsyD).

Licenses & Certifications
  • Active and unrestricted psychologist license.
  • Active psychology associate status (if applicable) with an approved clinical supervisor.
  • Professional liability insurance for independent contractors.
Compensation Structure

Fee‑for‑service role. Compensation based on completed, documented, and approved services including testing, administration, scoring, evaluation, reporting, and therapy sessions when applicable.

Benefits
  • W‑2 employees eligible for company‑sponsored benefits per agency policy.
  • 1099 employees not eligible for company‑sponsored benefits; responsible for own taxes and benefits.
Work Schedule

Flexible scheduling. Provider may work part‑time, as needed, or on an agreed recurrent schedule. Coordinate appointments and caseload with the outpatient mental health center and Enterprise Management Solutions LLC.

Physical Demands
  • Prolonged sitting, computer use, and documentation.
  • Use of standard office and clinical equipment.
  • Occasional standing, walking, carrying testing materials.
  • Attention to detail during interviews, testing, scoring, reporting, and feedback.
Work Conditions
  • Outpatient mental health center setting.
  • In‑person clinical services and testing appointments.
  • Requires HIPAA compliance, confidentiality, and ethical standards.
  • Work may be independent but coordinated with supervisors, billing staff, and credentialing staff.
