American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 2+ years of experience in interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.

• Work in an interventional cardiac catheterization lab setting
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Call requirements include 1 to 2 weeknight call shifts (Monday-Friday) and 3-24 hour weekend call shift per month
• Cerner charting system experience preferred

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience within the last 7 years
• Must have completed at least 1 prior travel assignment
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required
• CCI RCIS or ARRT-R certification required
• MD state license required if candidate holds ARRT certification; license required if applicable
• Skills required include interventional cath, cardiac stent placement, scrubbing, right and left heart catheterization, rotablader, thrombectomy, stents, PCI, PTCA, and balloon angioplasty
• Preferred skills include acute monitoring, room circulator duties, ACIST, Watchman procedures, Impella insertion, and TAVI/TAVR
• Two supervisory references required, including one from the most recent assignment, supporting at least 2 years of experience in the previous 3 years

• Perform cardiac catheterization procedures including stent placement, PCI, PTCA, right and left heart catheterization, and structural heart interventions such as TAVR and Watchman
• Function effectively in a high-paced, efficient environment as part of a collaborative team
• Scrubs provided
• Weekly orientation
• Accepts local candidates within 60 miles at a lower rate
• RTO not permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment, with a maximum of 7 days RTO per 13-week contract
