We are seeking a capable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support our wonderful individuals with developmental disabilities and enhance their quality of life.
Responsibilities- Assist with personal hygiene needs and dressing
- Assist with mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercises
- Promote independence in daily activities, such as work, learning, and leisure
- Facilitate the individual's inclusion in the community’s experiences and activities
- Maintain knowledge of the individual's requirements
- Comply with the Agency’s policies and procedures
- Maintain documentation in compliance with the Agency’s procedures
- Perform additional duties upon request
- Previous experience in a DSP or similar role
- High School Diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent
- CPR and first aid certification
- Completion of the provided Agency training
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and valid vehicle insurance as specified by the MD
- Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand proactively and physically support the individual
- Capable of using necessary apps on your personal cell phone
- Compassionate, respectful, ethical
- Must have a reliable car and be dependable in commuting
- Must be able to work all advertised hours (Monday – Friday, 6 PM – 10 PM)
