Experienced Audiologist to work between multiple locations part time. Havre De Grace, Franklin Square and Belair offices. Do hearing tests, exams, sales of hearing aids, and obtaining prior authorizations for patients

North Bay ENT and Audiololgy is seeking a Full-Time, motivated audiologist to join our team. Travel may be required between our three office locations (Franklin Square, Bel Air and Havre de Grace). The ideal candidate will work closely with another audiologist, 3 ENTs, 3 Nurse Practitioners and 1 PA, as well as patients and their companions, to develop and implement customized treatment plans that best meet the patient's hearing healthcare needs and provide ongoing support and care to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Adults and pediatrics.

Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive hearing evaluations, including pure tone and speech audiometry, immittance evaluations, and OAEs
  • Provide accurate test interpretation and diagnoses of hearing disorders
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and communication goals, including hearing aid selection, fitting, and troubleshooting
  • Utilize objective measurements for device verification
  • Provide ongoing support and counseling on diagnosis, prevention, and management of hearing disorders to patients and their families throughout the treatment process
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including test results and interpretation, treatment plans and progress notes
  • Complete administrative duties as needed
Requirements
  • Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) or Masters from an accredited institution
  • Strong diagnostic and treatment skills, with the ability to work with patients of all ages
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, their families, and colleagues
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple patient cases simultaneously
  • Proficiency in using audiology diagnostic equipment and software
  • Self-sufficient, team player, hardworking, competent, confident, and patient
