Summary
The Nursing Support Tech II Participates as member of the healthcare team in the delivery of high quality patient care. Under supervision of the registered nurse, the NST performs delgated patient care and procedures and observes reports and records patient conditions and information. The NST assists the healthcare team with specific treatments &/or procedures in the acute care facility.

Healthcare Provider level CPR - Age Specific Care Provided For:
Adolescents Adults Geriatrics - Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize one or more of the following:- Microsoft Word
- Power Point
- Excel
- Microsoft Outlook
- Meditech (if applicable to position)
- Epic (if applicable to position)
- Performance Manager/Net Learning
- Other Requirements:
- Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner.
- Must be able to work independently and possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
- Must possess the ability to effectively communicate and deal tactfully with other personnel, visitors, patients, physicians, customers, and the general public.
- Must be flexible, have personal integrity, and the ability to function effectively as a team with other employees.
- Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
Education and
Work Experience:
High School Diploma or GED. Successful completion of a CNA or GNA program. Successful completion of GNA course and/or successful completion of Fundamentals and one additional clinical course in an accredited nursing program. Successful completion of NST course.
USD $18.66/Hr.
MaxUSD $30.79/Hr.
Salary InformationCompensation decisions are made in alignment with internal equity, role scope, and market data to ensure fair and consistent pay practices. Most new hires are typically placed within the lower to mid-portion of the range; offers above that level are reserved for candidates with advanced or highly specialized qualifications.
