Pediatric Clinical Pharmacist - Nights

Join the Pediatric Pharmacy Division at The Johns Hopkins Hospital as a Clinical Pharmacist IA on our 7-on/7-off overnight team. This position offers a unique opportunity to build clinical confidence and independence while caring for a diverse and highly complex pediatric patient population within a large academic children’s hospital.

Overnight pharmacists play an essential role in ensuring safe and effective medication use across pediatric acute and critical care areas. Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, you will develop experience in medication management, therapeutic drug monitoring, emergency response, drug information, and clinical decision-making in an environment that encourages professional growth and increasing autonomy.

This full-time night-shift position is eligible for applicable shift differentials and night-shift incentives, providing additional compensation for overnight practice. It is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist looking to strengthen pediatric clinical skills, develop greater independence, and grow within an academic health system committed to patient care, education, and professional development.

• Graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy resulting in Pharm.
  
  D. or BS degree
• Completion of an ASHP accredited residency program or equivalent experience is desired
• Current licensure as a pharmacist in the State of Maryland required
• Hospital and departmental education requirements completed within 90 days of hire
• ACLS and/or PALS certification is desired
• Previous clinical health-system experience is desired
