Job Type: Full-Time
Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Interventional Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures and serve as a team lead. This role works closely with physicians during complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in IR, Angiography, and Diagnostic Radiology.
Key Responsibilities- Perform imaging procedures in Interventional Radiology, Angiography, and Diagnostic Radiology
. - Assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Support vascular access, drain placements, biopsies, and other image-guided procedures
. - Assist with Neuro IR procedures
, including cerebral angiography, stroke thrombectomy, aneurysm coiling, AVM/AVF embolization, and vascular stenting. - Serve as a team lead and help coordinate daily workflow.
- Explain procedures and preparation requirements to patients and families.
- Follow all patient safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
- Associate's degree or equivalent education.
- 5+ years of relevant imaging experience
. - Active ARRT certification
. - Active Maryland State License
. - Current American Heart Association (AHA) CPR certification
. - CT certification at the advanced level is preferred/required as applicable.
An experienced imaging technologist with strong Interventional Radiology and/or Neuro Interventional Radiology experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and supporting complex procedures.
