Responsibilities include:

• Providing individualized and group occupational therapy for high school students to enhance functional performance in academic and life skills
• Developing and implementing customized treatment plans focused on pediatric and adolescent needs within a school-based context
• Collaborating with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
• Conducting assessments and documenting outcomes to ensure timely communication and goal achievement
• Utilizing a variety of therapy delivery models, including potential teletherapy support as needed
• Maintaining compliance with all state and federal regulations, as well as school system protocols

Preferred qualifications:

• Previous experience in a school-based setting, particularly with high school-aged youth
• Strong foundation in pediatric occupational therapy, home health, and healthcare environments
• Competence in delivering services via teletherapy when appropriate
• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active OT license in Maryland or eligibility to obtain
• Passion for helping students develop independence, self-advocacy, and success in school
