Lead Care Coordinator About Neural Care

Neural Care is building an AI-powered dementia care platform designed to help families manage the day-to-day complexity of caring for someone with dementia.

Our platform combines AI agents with experienced human coordinators to help caregivers manage appointments, medications, benefits, care resources, research, follow-ups, and the hundreds of small tasks that make dementia caregiving overwhelming.

We are looking for a Care Coordinator who can work directly with families today and help us build the care coordination model of tomorrow.

This is not a traditional call-center or scheduling role. You will become a subject matter expert inside the company, working closely with caregivers, product teams, engineers, and AI teams. Over time, we expect the right person to help train and lead a team of Neural Care coordinators.

You will work directly with families caring for people with dementia and help them solve real problems, including:

• Understanding care needs and helping families determine appropriate next steps
• Finding physicians, specialists, home care, adult day programs, respite care, transportation, support groups, and community resources
• Helping caregivers understand and navigate Medicare, Medicaid, VA benefits, and other available programs
• Supporting appointment scheduling, preparation, follow-up, and care coordination
• Researching services and resources when the answer is not obvious
• Following open issues through completion rather than simply giving families a phone number or website
• Recognizing when a situation requires escalation to a clinician, emergency service, social worker, or another qualified professional
• Building trusted, ongoing relationships with caregivers who may be under significant emotional and practical stress

Our coordinators are also subject matter experts for the product team.

You will:

• Identify recurring caregiver problems that Neural Care should solve
• Help define workflows, features, and product priorities based on real caregiver needs
• Review new features before they are released and participate in user acceptance testing
• Create realistic dementia-care scenarios, workflows, and edge cases for product development
• Identify gaps where technology may give an incomplete, unsafe, or impractical answer
• Help define when the AI should act independently, ask additional questions, involve a coordinator, or elevate to a healthcare professional

Neural Care is developing AI agents that communicate with caregivers, patients, healthcare organizations, and community resources through messaging and voice.

You will help us make those agents useful, safe, and human.

Responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing conversations between AI agents and caregivers or patients
• Evaluating whether responses are accurate, empathetic, clear, and appropriate
• Helping create conversation guidelines, escalation rules, and response standards
• Developing test scenarios based on situations you have seen in real-world care
• Testing agents that call physician offices, pharmacies, community organizations, senior services, and other external resources
• Identifying situations where an agent should stop and involve a human
• Providing structured feedback to product and engineering teams so agent performance improves

• 4+ years of relevant experience in healthcare, aging services, social services, care management, case management, patient navigation, caregiving, or a closely related field
• Strong working knowledge of the U.S. healthcare system
• Practical understanding of Medicare
