The main purpose of this position is to deliver peer recovery support, crisis intervention, and advocacy for individuals navigating substance use disorders and recovery, while promoting public safety through harm reduction education and community outreach.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- Education:
Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate. - Experience:
One year of experience providing peer recovery support services. - Note:
Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a non-commissioned officer in Peer Specialist classifications or Peer Specialist and specialty codes in the health-related field of work for the required experience.
