We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiation Therapist Sr to join our healthcare team. - Administer radiation therapy treatments accurately and safely according to physician prescriptions.
- Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Monitor patient progress and report any adverse reactions or complications to the medical team.
- Collaborate with oncologists, dosimetrists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment procedures and potential side effects.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
- Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives within the radiation therapy department.
Join us in delivering compassionate and advanced cancer care as a Radiation Therapist Sr.
Education and Experience- Graduation from an AMA approved program in Radiation Therapy Technology or Radiologic Technology is required. An Associate of Science degree in Radiation Therapy Technology is preferred.
- Registration as a Radiation Therapy Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) is required.
- Licensure as a Radiation Therapy Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in the state of Maryland is required.
- CPR certification is required.
- Three years of clinical practice in Radiation Therapy is required.
