Clinical Exercise Physiologist
Location:
Med Star Franklin Square Medical Center, Baltimore-Washington metro region.
- Assess patients' physical and functional status and develop individualized fitness programs.
- Co‑ordinate occupational health events and monitor program results.
- Maintain procedure manuals, equipment manuals, and facility maintenance protocols.
- Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and other health care team members for comprehensive rehabilitation plans.
- Develop and implement fitness testing, health‑related curricula, wellness seminars, and marketing materials.
- Provide services to hospital and departmental personnel as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology or Biomechanics.
- 1–2 years clinical experience in cardiac rehabilitation with knowledge of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, ECG/BP monitoring, and emergency interventions.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- ACSM certification as an Exercise Test Technician or Exercise Specialist preferred.
USD $22.48 – $39.75 per hour.
