Public Area Attendant

HOTEL REVIVAL is hiring a PUBLIC AREA ATTENDANT. Hotel Revival is a 107-key art-centric boutique hotel located in Baltimore's historic Mount Vernon neighborhood, home to 19th-century architecture, lush parks, iconic churches, galleries, restaurants, and cultural venues. It embodies Baltimore by showcasing local products, the city's history, and native cuisine. This award-winning property is internationally recognized for its commitment to the ongoing restoration of Baltimore and its success in social impact.

Job Overview A Public Area Attendant is responsible for the cleanliness of the property including public areas, back-of-house, exterior public space, and linens. Public Area Attendants are also responsible for the restocking of in-room guest amenities and must ensure a thorough inventory control of these products.

• Adhere to all standards of operations, policies and procedures, manuals, training material, memos, and verbal instruction
• Maintain the highest level of cleanliness for all hotel public areas including public restrooms, lobby, fitness center, pool area, and guest corridors as applicable
• Replenish public area guest amenities on a regular basis including toilet paper, hand towels, hand soap, etc.
• Remove linen and trash from all vacated guest rooms proper to room attendant service
• Complete any guest requests in a timely fashion
• Maintain guest corridor and back of house cleanliness throughout the shift
• Report and correct any deficiencies noted in guest rooms or public areas to the appropriate individuals
• Assist in the timely completion of all projects including mattress rotation, window washing, deep cleanings, etc.
• Possess knowledge of all guest services and amenities
• Greet all guests in close proximity and make each feel important by providing a genuine welcome
• Ensure immediate response is given to guest comments and concerns; inform immediate supervisor and apply corrective measures when necessary
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in the work area

• You have a high school diploma or general education degree preferred.
• Previous guest service and/or housekeeping experience preferred.
• You can interpret standard operating procedures, safety, and sanitation instructions.
