We are seeking a professional, service-oriented Hospitality Associate to create an exceptional first impression for residents, families, guests, and visitors. This position combines concierge-level customer service with resident support, front desk coverage, and daily hospitality services to ensure every interaction reflects warmth, professionalism, and excellence.
This role is ideal for individuals with experience in luxury hotels, resorts, concierge services, upscale residential communities, senior living, healthcare reception, or other high-touch customer service environments.
What you will be doing:
- Greet every resident, family member, visitor, vendor, and guests with warmth, professionalism, genuine hospitality and a sincere desire to create a memorable experience.
- Serve as a hospitality ambassador for Roland Park Place by creating exceptional first and last impressions that reflect the community’s commitment to luxury service.
- Build meaningful relationships with residents by learning their preferences, recognizing them by name whenever possible, and delivering personalized service that exceeds expectations.
- Anticipate resident and guest needs before they are expressed, proactively offering assistance and identifying opportunities to enhance their experience.
- Assist residents and visitors arriving and departing the community, including helping with packages, personal belongings, mobility assistance, and escorting guests to their destinations whenever appropriate.
- Deliver packages, flowers, mail and other resident items promptly, accurately and courteously while maintaining excellent service
- Provide concierge level service by answering questions, offering directions, coordinating transportation or resident requests, and connecting residents with appropriate services throughout the community.
- Take ownership of resident and guest requests from start to finish, ensuring concerns are resolved promptly and following up to confirm complete satisfaction.
- Respond to service concerns with empathy, professionalism, and urgency, working collaboratively with other departments to turn challenges into positive experiences.
- Operate the front desk in a welcoming, efficient, and professional manner, including, answering telephones promptly, directing calls, registering visitors, and supporting reception operations.
- Communicate effectively with multiple departments to ensure seamless service and timely fulfillment of resident needs.
- Maintain a polished, organized, and welcoming appearance throughout the reception area, lobby, and other public spaces, recognizing that every detail contributes to the resident experience.
- Protect resident privacy and maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
- Observe all safety and security procedures, remain alert to potentially unsafe conditions, and respond calmly and appropriately during emergencies.
- Perform other hospitality related duties as assigned.
What we are looking for:
- Ability to uphold our core values and follow policies and procedures.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in hospitality, concierge, front desk, senior living, healthcare, hotel, luxury residential living.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact respectfully with older adults, families, visitors, vendors and team members.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain calm in a busy environment.
- Basic computer skills, including email, typing, scheduling systems.
- Valid Maryland driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written procedures, safety guidelines, schedules, and resident service instructions.
