Human Resources Generalist

Planned Parenthood of Maryland is seeking a proactive, customer-focused Human Resources Generalist. This role utilizes technology, strong relationships, and HR expertise to make HR processes accurate, seamless, and efficient, allowing staff to focus on delivering essential reproductive healthcare. • Master the Systems: Take ownership of employee data across ADP Workforce Now, Lattice, and Lever, ensuring smooth full-cycle onboarding, off-boarding, and accurate payroll processing.
• Support Our People: Serve as the friendly, go-to expert for staff FAQs regarding benefits, policies, FMLA, and more, while efficiently coordinating the HR shared inbox.
• Champion Benefits: Drive active engagement during Open Enrollment, manage vendor relationships, and educate employees about our agency’s benefit offerings to boost retention.
• Advance Compliance: Partner with the credentialing team during the recruitment of medical professionals and perform routine audits to maintain readiness for accreditation.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience within Recruitment and/or Human Resources.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR administration, HRIS, or IT roles.
• High level of comfort and experience with applicant tracking and HRIS systems (experience with ADP WFN, Lattice, and Lever highly preferred).
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle complex, confidential personnel matters with integrity, tact, and non-judgmental listening.
• Preferred: 3+ years of benefits management and employee engagement experience, plus general knowledge of employment law.
