Planned Parenthood of Maryland is seeking a proactive, customer-focused Human Resources Generalist. This role utilizes technology, strong relationships, and HR expertise to make HR processes accurate, seamless, and efficient, allowing staff to focus on delivering essential reproductive healthcare. Responsibilities- Master the Systems: Take ownership of employee data across ADP Workforce Now, Lattice, and Lever, ensuring smooth full-cycle onboarding, off-boarding, and accurate payroll processing.
- Support Our People: Serve as the friendly, go-to expert for staff FAQs regarding benefits, policies, FMLA, and more, while efficiently coordinating the HR shared inbox.
- Champion Benefits: Drive active engagement during Open Enrollment, manage vendor relationships, and educate employees about our agency’s benefit offerings to boost retention.
- Advance Compliance: Partner with the credentialing team during the recruitment of medical professionals and perform routine audits to maintain readiness for accreditation.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience within Recruitment and/or Human Resources.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR administration, HRIS, or IT roles.
- High level of comfort and experience with applicant tracking and HRIS systems (experience with ADP WFN, Lattice, and Lever highly preferred).
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle complex, confidential personnel matters with integrity, tact, and non-judgmental listening.
- Preferred: 3+ years of benefits management and employee engagement experience, plus general knowledge of employment law.
