Human Resources Manager
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for leading and executing human resources strategies that support business objectives, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness. This role serves as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, providing guidance across employee relations, labor relations, talent management, workforce planning, and compliance. The position partners closely with business leaders and HR Centers of Excellence to deliver scalable HR solutions and foster a high-performance culture.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the execution of HR strategies and programs, providing guidance on workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and talent management initiatives.
- Managing employee and labor relations activities, including grievance administration, collective bargaining support, investigations, and conflict resolution.
- Partnering with HR Centers of Excellence to implement compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, payroll, and development programs.
- Driving performance management, succession planning, employee engagement, and leadership development initiatives across the organization.
- Monitoring HR metrics and trends, ensuring compliance with employment regulations, and identifying opportunities for continuous process improvement.
Required qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of Human Resources Business Partner or Human Resources Management experience, including at least 2 years of people leadership experience.
- Experience working in a unionized environment, including labor relations and collective bargaining administration.
- Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive situations professionally.
- Experience using HRIS and payroll systems and applying employment law knowledge in a business environment.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or operations-focused organizations.
- Experience with Workday, UKG, or comparable HR technology platforms.
- Demonstrated success driving talent management, organizational change, and workforce planning initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using HR metrics to support business decision-making.
