Midlevel Labor & Employment Associate

Overview

• The Labor and Employment Group advises and represents employers across the full spectrum of labor and employment law, including workplace counseling, litigation, traditional labor relations, regulatory compliance, and training.
• The role requires experience in both employment litigation and counseling.
• Required prior matter experience includes litigating anti-discrimination, anti-harassment, retaliation, and wage-and-hour cases; providing restrictive covenant advice (non-disclosure, non-competition, non-solicitation agreements); conducting internal investigations of alleged workplace misconduct; and drafting employment policies (employee handbooks, employment offer letters).
• Experience with traditional labor matters, such as collective bargaining and union member arbitration, is a plus but not required.
• Candidates should be eager to take the lead on depositions, hearings, and mediations.
• A track record of providing business-oriented, strategic advice to clients is highly desired.
