- Report directly to the Chief Administrative Officer
- Lead the strategy and execution of talent acquisition and talent management
- Create innovative sourcing strategies and recruiting processes
- Elevate candidate experience and strengthen employment branding
- Build talent pipelines for critical and leadership positions
- Develop recruiting metrics to improve quality, efficiency, and long-term hiring success
- Position Lafayette Federal as an employer of choice within financial services and served communities
- Lead workforce planning, performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, career pathing, employee engagement, and employee experience
- Partner with organizational leaders to understand workforce needs and build talent solutions supporting business objectives
- Align talent strategies with compensation, employee relations, payroll, and HR operations
- Translate organizational capability needs into leadership and professional development programs
- Strengthen workforce planning, employee engagement, and leadership readiness across the Credit Union
- Must reside in DC, Maryland, or Virginia
- Must be local to the Washington, DC metropolitan area
- Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of headquarters
- Must be able to meet onsite work requirements
- Proven record of building and leading high-performing talent acquisition organizations
- Experience expanding recruiting into broader talent management responsibilities
- Demonstrated success improving quality of hire, workforce planning, employee engagement, and succession readiness
- Experience recruiting for leadership and business-critical positions
- Strong business acumen and ability to translate organizational strategy into talent strategy
- Outstanding relationship-building and communication skills
- Experience leading through influence, collaboration, and change
- Bachelor's degree required
- Master's degree and professional HR certifications preferred
- Experience with in financial services or another highly regulated industry preferred
Demonstrates expertise in talent acquisition and management, with a focus on building high-performing teams and aligning talent strategies with organizational goals. Proven ability to enhance candidate experience and develop metrics for workforce planning and employee engagement.
