Job Summary
The Infrastructure Project Manager – Datacenter & Migrations is responsible for leading complex, large-scale technology infrastructure initiatives across the organization. This role partners closely with cross-functional technical and business teams to ensure successful planning, execution, and delivery of infrastructure solutions aligned with business objectives.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in IT infrastructure, data centers, cloud, and migrations, combined with strong project management discipline and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple concurrent infrastructure projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.
Manage all project management activities, including planning, reporting, risk and issue tracking, scope management, estimation, and documentation.
Drive collaboration between technical teams (network, server, storage, cloud, security) and business units to ensure alignment.
Facilitate project meetings, status updates, and stakeholder communications, providing clear reporting on progress, risks, and issues.
Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service delivery for infrastructure initiatives.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory standards, and security requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Identify, manage, and resolve project risks and conflicts, escalating when appropriate.
Present project updates and recommendations to steering committees and executive sponsors.
Continuously improve project management processes, tools, and best practices.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
PMP or PMI certification.
10+ years of experience managing complex IT infrastructure projects.
Proven experience delivering projects involving:
Networking
Server and storage infrastructure
Cloud technologies
Virtualization
Data center operations
Strong knowledge of ITIL, cybersecurity, and enterprise infrastructure best practices.
Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, or Planner.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
Strong risk assessment and mitigation capabilities.
Preferred
MBA or other advanced degree.
Experience in financial services or other regulated industries.
Experience delivering technology and business application solutions in large-scale, multi-platform environments.
Additional Information
May be required to work outside standard business hours to support project delivery.
