Overview
Seeking a Service Now Developer with experience analyzing the customer requirements and develop a solution architecture that addresses the technical, management, maximizes automation, and provides operational reporting aspects of the proposal.
This position is located at our client site in Baltimore, MD.
- Provide development support for Service Now projects and enhancements.
- Develop process workflows and automation strategies.
- Collaborate with the team in architecture design development and reviews.
- Lead the development of solution artifacts, such as road maps, optimization of operations, architecture and/or block diagrams with a view outside of User Story requirements.
- Support growth-related activities, including prototypes, and oral presentations.
- Team members are also expected to uphold and maintain appropriate certifications for their practice expertise.
- Bachelor's and 3 years of experience, Master's and 1 year of experience or 7+ in lieu of a degree.
- 5+ years of experience as Service Now developer.
- 3+ years of experience with technical discussions and reviews.
- Experience across numerous parts of the Service Now platform and experience with commonly integrated third-party technologies.
- Excellent understanding of system architecture, design principles, and impacts.
- Experience supporting IT related data integrity (CMDB, HAM, SAM etc.).
- Excellent technical leadership skills and initiative to take on additional responsibilities.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills to deliver technical solutions simply and succinctly.
- Experience with the US Federal Government.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust. Contract requirement.
- 3+ years of experience with developing Service Now solutions across various platform applications, such as ITSM, ITOM (HAM and SAM), ITBM, CSM, Sec Ops, GRC, HR.
- 3+ years of Industry experience (e.g. Financial Services, Healthcare, High Tech, Manufacturing, Retail, etc.).
- 2+ years of technical leadership experience driving change/solutions.

- Experience with implementing Java scripting to support automation across the various modules in Service Now.
- Experience with REST and SOAP web service protocols.
