We are seeking a passionate and talented Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our innovative tech services team. The ideal candidate will be a key player in shaping the direction and execution of our company's machine learning initiatives. You will be working with a team of data scientists, engineers, and product managers to develop and implement machine learning models that will drive business growth and enhance user experience.

DC based government consulting prime working on enterprise modernization of production systems to implement modern machine learning technologies to major production systems starting with proof of concept work through implementation at scale over the next 2-5 years.

• Lead evaluation of new or emerging technologies through prototypes and proofs of concept
• Analyze and clearly communicate the benefits and risks of adopting new technologies
• Serve as a hands-on technical lead across development, operations, and security in cloud environments
• Guide enterprise-wide adoption of modern tools, cloud platforms, and AI/ML solutions
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior IT specialists and engineers
• Balance hands-on engineering with strategic architectural planning and system design

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Ability to obtain US Government security clearance
• 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering or IT
• Proficiency in Python and experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., Tensor Flow, PyTorch)
• Experience deploying, tuning, and maintaining ML models in production (MLOps)
• Experience with Amazon Sage Maker
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure); deep AWS experience strongly preferred
• Strong Dev Ops skills CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (CDK or Terraform), automation, and monitoring
