Delivery Practice Manager, WWPS ProServe

Overview

Delivery Practice Manager, WWPS Pro Serve – US citizen with active Top Secret security clearance; this role leads a Pro Serve Shared Delivery Team (SDT) at AWS and serves as a strategic advisor to customers, partners, and internal AWS teams. You will manage a team of Delivery Consultants and/or Engagement Managers, support AWS enterprise customers through transformative projects, and drive engagement delivery and opportunity capture while aligning business outcomes with AWS Professional Services offerings.

Your experience in the technology sector will help optimize team performance through tailored development plans, translate technical concepts into business value, and cultivate strong relationships with customers, Amazon Global Sales, and Pro Serve teams. Success is measured by delivering customer engagements on time, within budget, and exceeding customer expectations, while meeting the practice total utilization goal and optimizing team performance.

The AWS Professional Services organization is a global team assisting customers to realize desired business outcomes when using the AWS Cloud, in collaboration with the AWS Partner Network. We provide guidance through offerings and global specialty practices that cover a variety of solutions, technologies, and industries.

• Building and managing a high-performing team of Delivery Consultants
• Collaborating with Delivery Consultants, Engagement Managers, Account Executives, and Cloud Architects to deploy solutions and provide input on new features
• Developing and overseeing the implementation of innovative, forward-looking IT strategies for customers
• Managing practice P&L, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery of customer engagements
• Driving business development initiatives and exceeding customer satisfaction targets

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, machine learning or equivalent quantitative field
• 5+ years applying statistical models for large-scale applications and building automated analytical systems
• 3+ years of management experience with scientists or machine learning engineers
• Knowledge of Python or R or other scripting language
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above

• Experience in client or vendor facing roles with a focus on relationship management and negotiation skills
• Experience in project management including resource planning, managing schedules, reporting project status and prioritizing tasks for multiple projects

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
