Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Information Technology Security Manager based in Baltimore, MD. The role involves overseeing all aspects of cybersecurity, ensuring the security and integrity of the organization's digital infrastructure. The manager will lead efforts in developing, implementing, and maintaining information security policies, procedures, and protocols. Key responsibilities include managing risks, securing applications, monitoring network traffic, responding to threats, and educating staff on security awareness.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Cybersecurity, with the ability to detect, prevent, and mitigate cyber threats
- Strong experience in Information Technology operations and management
- Knowledge and practical skills in Application Security and implementing secure software solutions
- Proficiency in Information Security Management frameworks and standards
- Understanding of Information Security principles and methodologies
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage teams and interact with stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- Professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) are highly desirable
