Network Engineer(L2 Support)

Baltimore MD 21230 (Onsite)

• 8+ years of experience in Network Operations
• Good on-ground hands‑on experience of hardware, cabling (copper, fiber), understanding of the patch panel and physical connectivity
• Excellent knowledge of routers, catalyst and Nexus switches, Cisco WLC
• Good knowledge of switching including DC environment
• Knowledge in SDWAN (Aruba silver peak) & SDWAN Meraki
• Basic understanding of Zscaler
• Knowledge of high availability protocols and design, on both Layer 2 and Layer 3
• Good understanding of Cisco Meraki Wireless
• Good understanding of SNMP protocol
• Working experience of routing protocols (implementation and troubleshooting)

• Ability to work individually and as part of a team, potentially covering extended working hours
• Working experience in incident management processes and prioritization
• Networking certifications one or more of the following CCNP or similar or other certifications
• Desire to learn new technologies and develop advanced networking skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
