Job Description
Cyber Core is looking for a Tier II PC Tech that can independently install or relocate computer equipment, such as PCs, thin client terminals, printers, and other associated hardware at user locations, ensuring access to electricity and a network in accordance with departmental procedures, technical, operating, and assembling manuals. The candidate will provide first‑level problem analysis, possess a solid base of knowledge of assigned applications, hardware, and network to support clinical and business environments, resolve or escalates service requests when necessary, and independently perform technical downloads and PC configurations.
Responsibilities- Assists customers in identifying and specifying requested hardware and software. Coordinates activities, times, and schedules with supervisor and end-users regarding the installation, operation, and evaluation of user locations for equipment, ensuring needs are addressed appropriately and timely in accordance with standards and procedures.
- Uses the Helpdesk Call Tracking application to log all activities and update requests accurately and in detail, collecting data from customers to aid in the completion of the request.
- Work on special projects as assigned.
- Maintain a clean and professional work environment.
- A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required.
- Two or more years of experience with desktop equipment, performing installations, configurations, troubleshooting, and evaluations.
- Experience deploying and installing PCs, thin client terminals, and printers (network and local).
- Experience building and deploying an image utilizing Symantec/Norton Ghost or other imaging software applications.
- Knowledge of PCs, terminals, and printer hardware and software configurations, Microsoft Networking, Novell Networking, and cabling infrastructures.
- Ability to understand and adhere to systems security and control procedures in accordance with departmental, vendor standards, and regulatory bodies.
- Excellent communication and organization skills; demonstrates confidence and creativity.
- Ability to multitask and to work under pressure and short timelines.
- Able to interact effectively across organizations and diverse cultures, communicating clearly, concisely, and persuasively.
- Excellent planning, organizing, coordination, presentation, and time management skills.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work with all levels within the organization.
- An associate's degree or certification in Computer Science, Maintenance, Telecommunications, Certified Network Engineer, or a related field is preferred.

The salary range for this role is $40,000 - $53,000. This range is a good‑faith estimate that reflects various experience levels. At Cyber Core, we consider multiple factors when determining compensation, including the specific role and its responsibilities, the candidate's professional experience, geographic location, education, and relevant skills. This range is not a guarantee of salary, as final compensation may also be influenced by contractual requirements and other considerations.
