Here's what the opportunity supported through our TGS Talent Acquisition Team requires:
We are looking for a highly experienced Lead AI Engineer with expert-level proficiency in Python and machine learning to guide our AI initiatives and mentor a talented engineering team. As a technical leader, you will architect and oversee the development of innovative AI solutions, ensuring best practices and high standards across all projects.

Key Responsibilities
● Architect, design, and lead the development of advanced machine learning models and AI systems using Python.
● Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of AI/ML engineers and data scientists.
● Oversee end-to-end project life cycles: from data collection and preprocessing, through model development, to deployment and monitoring.
● Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to define AI strategy and translate business objectives into technical solutions.
● Establish and enforce best practices for coding, model validation, versioning, and reproducibility.
● Review code, provide constructive feedback, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
● Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in AI/ML, and drive the adoption of new technologies and methodologies.
● Present technical concepts and project progress to both technical and non-technical audiences. Required

Skills & Qualifications
● 5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership or lead role.
● Expert-level Python programming skills and deep familiarity with ML libraries (Num Py, pandas, scikit-learn, Tensor Flow, Lang Chain, PyTorch, etc.).
● Demonstrated experience architecting and deploying production-grade machine learning systems.
● Strong understanding of data engineering, feature engineering, and big data tools.
● Experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and MLOps practices.
● Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Nice to Have
● Experience with NLP, computer vision, or generative AI models.
● Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation for ML projects.
● Knowledge of Agentic frameworks, and some experience building agents from scratch…
