IT Systems & Network Administrator

Location:

Baltimore, Maryland, United States (Hybrid – 3 days per week remote, 2 days in the office)

Hudson Global Scholars (Operating LLC) provides the best U.S. education to school partners and students worldwide. As an IT Systems & Network Administrator, you will support our global infrastructure and provide technical support to staff.

Hands‑on hybrid role combining infrastructure administration with day‑to‑day end‑user support. Ideal for someone who enjoys both technical systems work and helping people solve everyday technology challenges.

• Set up, configure, and reimage laptops and workstations for new and existing employees
• Provide day‑to‑day technical support to internal staff and communicate solutions clearly to non‑technical users
• Support Microsoft SQL Server and Maria
  
  DB database maintenance and monitoring
• Assist in managing AWS cloud environments across the US and China
• Develop and maintain Power Shell scripts for backups, license management, and archiving
• Support OpenVPN and pf Sense network infrastructure and secure cloud connectivity
• Assist in administering Unix‑based servers across platforms

• 1–3 years of experience in IT support or systems administration
• Foundational knowledge of SQL Server, Maria
  
  DB, or similar databases
• Basic familiarity with AWS cloud services
• Some Power Shell scripting experience or strong willingness to learn
• Familiarity with networking concepts including VPN and firewall management
• Experience setting up and reimaging Windows laptops and workstations
• Strong English communication skills, written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast‑moving environment
• Experience with pf Sense, OpenVPN, Unix, or Azure AD is a plus
