Technical Sales Representative , NATSEC

Join our National Security team as an Account Executive supporting the Westfields customer. In this role, you will build and maintain strategic relationships, driving successful cloud adoption and delivering exceptional outcomes for our customers. You will collaborate closely with Senior Account Managers, Solution Architects, Enterprise Support teams, and other AWS services teams to accelerate cloud migration initiatives. Your technical sales background and problem‑solving abilities will help customers navigate their cloud journey and meet mission‑critical objectives.

• Build and maintain technical trusted advisor relationships with influential technical decision‑makers to support deployment of AWS services and technologies.
• Collaborate with the account team to create and execute business plans, accelerate adoption of AWS, exceed revenue goals, and drive customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with a large sales team, including key account managers and sales solution architects, to close opportunities across public sector verticals.
• Align customer requirements with AWS service teams’ roadmaps, driving the AWS platform to meet customer needs.
• Identify and share best‑practice knowledge and educate customers on cloud solutions.
• Travel as required (generally 5–30%).

• 5+ years of full sales cycle, technology sales or equivalent business development, sales engineering/consulting experience.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TOP SECRET with SCI eligibility.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills; ability to work with senior technical and executive stakeholders.
• Experience in architecture design, cloud migrations, and data‑driven decision making.

• Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce.
• Background in engineering, computer science, or MIS.
• Experience driving new business in greenfield accounts at the C‑suite level.
• 5+ years of technology platform sales with understanding of government IT, data centers, cloud services and cloud adoption experience.

The role requires the selected candidate to be a US citizen and a current holder of an active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.

Base salary range: $92,400.00 – $ USD annually (location: Herndon, VA).

Your day will involve direct engagement with customers at their Westfields location or at our AWS facility in Herndon. You'll participate in strategic customer meetings, collaborate with technical teams on solution designs, and coordinate with internal stakeholders to address customer requirements.
